The local project group of the Casa de la Cultura focused on story-telling. That’s why the Spanish women participating in the project wrote about their lives and about other women in their families (grandmothers, mothers, aunts…). We show some of these stories.
We also show some pictures related to our religious traditions: first communion, wedding, processions,… and a veil women used to wear in churches.
Children in a primary school in Madrid (Colegio “San Isidoro”) made drawings on the topic “How do you see your mother?”. Some of them are also exhibited, giving an idea about the next generation’s point of view on women’s roles.
